Today's Recepie

Kashmiri saag(red):
Ingredients:
palak(spinach)........1Kg
Kashmiri red chilli powder.........1tsp
Asafoetida......................a pinch
Kashmiri vadi masala.........1/2tsp
Salt.................................1/2-1tsp
oil.....................................4tsp
Garam Masala.................1/2 tsp


Cooking Method:
Wash palak(spinach) leaves in hot water. Keep a side.
In a pressure cooker, heat the oil and add a pinch of asafoetida and add red chilli powder.
Keep the flame Little simmer. Once you see the red chilli turning its color to darker, add palak
leaves and stir.
Keep pressured for 5 minutes. Turn the flame off and keep the cooker a side for few minutes.

Now remove the lid, add salt,kashmiri vadi masala and garam masala and reheat for 5 minutes on low flame.
Serve hot as side dish.
